Welcome to the India Association Cultural & Educational Center of North Central Florida in Ocala.
 
Mission Statement:
To preserve and propogate Indian culture, values and to conduct all activities that help to achieve this and to promote comaraderie and friendship amongst Indian community and community at large in which we live in
 
Current Activities:
  • Conducting 'Bal-Vihar' classes which is children's Sunday schooling to make them aware of traditional Indian values & their importance in day to day life.
  • To provide space for conducting all cultural & educational activities. Currently Yoga classes are being conducted under the guidance of Ms. Neelam Kohli
  • To conduct classes in music & dancing & SAT for our youth group. To inculcate spirit of social work amongst youth &presently we have adopted 36th Ave. clean up in conjunction with City of Ocala.
What has the Center done in the last 5 years?
  • Raised $30,000.00 for Gujarat earthquake relief.
  • Raised $10,000.00 for 9/11 emergencies supporting our local firefighters, law enforcement and City & County governments.
  • Raised $10,000.00 for United Way of Marion County
  • Became a business partner of Public Education Foundation to promote Baccalaureate program at Vanguard High school to promote excellence in our children.
  • Supported Interfaith for medicines for the poor and senior citizens every year.
  • Supported C.F.C.C. Foundation, 'We Care' and Domestic abuse center.
